Every project is reviewed for printable geometry, material suitability, quantity, finish and production capacity. An enquiry is not accepted for production until the scope and quote have been confirmed.

What we need to prepare a quote

  • A print-ready STL, 3MF or other agreed file format
  • The required quantity and approximate finished dimensions
  • Your preferred material, colour and surface finish, if known
  • Important fit, strength, temperature or appearance requirements
  • The requested completion date and collection or delivery location

Clear requirements help us assess orientation, support material, machine time and post-processing. If a file is not ready to print, we will explain what information or design changes are needed before a production quote can be finalised.

From file review to finished parts

  1. File and requirement review: we check the supplied information and identify any obvious questions.
  2. Quote and approval: the proposed material, quantity, finish and production scope are confirmed before work begins.
  3. Production preparation: the file is arranged for the agreed process and expectations.
  4. Printing and checks: parts are produced and reviewed against the agreed scope.
  5. Collection or delivery: the completed order is handed over using the agreed arrangement.

The appropriate material and process depend on the part’s geometry, environment, strength, flexibility, temperature exposure and visual requirements. Available options are confirmed for each enquiry; we do not assume that one material is suitable for every use.
